[handwitten: the late Frederic (Toups). (The three Strimples named above were 6-5-99] sisters of Marguerite Strimple.) Madame Leger produced 400 pias- tres from the sale of an arpent of land, belonging to the first com- munity which was sold to Jean-Louis Belsom. This was done in the presence of Jean-Louis Hedley, Louis Malliard and Andre Roger. Instrument also signed by Michel Frilloux and Francois Baudoin. It is determined that the three heirs of Marguerite Strimple would receive 116 piastres each. This amount therefore went to the children of the late Anne-Barbe Strimple and the late Frederic Toups; the children of the late Agnes Strimple and François Bau- doin; and to the children of the late Marie Strimple and the late Simon Picard. The children of the late Anne-Barbe Strimple and the late Frederic Toups numbered eight: the late Marianne, wife of François Baudoin; Paul Toups, Gaspard Toups, the late Louis Toups; Charlotte Toups, wife of Pol (Hypolite) Chauvin; the late Marguerite Toups, wife of Pierre Baudoin; the late Charles Toups; and Antoine Toups. The children of the late Marie Strimple and the late Simon Picard numbered three: Simon Gaspard dit Picard, Marguerite Picard, wife of J. Laviolette, and Jean-Louis Picard. The children of Agnes Strimple, wife of Hedley, numbered seven: Catherine Hedley, wife of Frangois(?) Francoeur; Agnes Hedley, wife of George Estilet; Marguerite, wife of Henry Belsom; Marie, wife of Michel Frilloux; Jean-Louis Hedley, Francois Christianne (from the second bed) and Louis Hedley.
