The aim of this paper is to analyze the changing situations of the graduates of Kiryu Koto Kogyo Gakko and the meaning of Shuyoshugi education of this college from Showa 4 (1929) to Showa 6 (1931) when the graduates of these kind of colleges faced severe difficulty in finding employment. In those days, although the graduates of this college were beginning to lose their traditional privilege and had to get jobs even as factory hands, they couldn\u27t give up the privilege easily. It is conceivable that the persuasion strategy by Shuyoshugi education which asked the graduates to find jobs and to serve the society was more effective than ever under these situations
