Low-calorie diets are effective for weight loss and fat, but can cause loss of lean mass and consequently reduction in metabolic rates. Physical training alone, without dietary control, may cause modest weight loss, while in association with diets, facilitates adherence to dietcontrol and ensures greater success in maintaining lean body mass and decrease in fat mass. The aim of this study was to analyze the intervention of a nutrition program and fitness in individuals with overweight and obesity in a fitness São Paulo.
