This eighth volume of the Proceedings of the Seminar is devoted to Special Problems in Ocean Engineering and environmental problems of coastal and off-shore areas in such fields as coastal geology, estuarine biology, hydrology, submarine ecology, and thermal pollution. It contains eight papers and among the topics covered in the papers include: impact of outer continental shelf development, thermal plume measurement, wave refraction studies, sediment mobility and dynamics, plankton bioassays for pollutants
