Development in the next decade and continued misuse of our water resources can cause irreparable damage to our environment if the pollution is not regulated. The fourth academic year of the Seminar is devoted again to explore the essential aspects of the above problems. Among the topics covered in these proceedings are: water problems of the mining industry, engineering and economic approaches to water development and pollution control, municipal water supply and economics, water resources management, air pollution, application of systems analysis to water resources planning, hydrogeological aspects of pollution and water resources
