The third academic year of the University Seminar on Pollution and Water Resources was devoted primarily to water pollution problems caused by the expanding population, urbanization, and industrialization, the phenomena of which resulted in enormous amounts of waste. The "Annual December Meeting in Washington, D. C." with the World Bank as host was a review of the world situation about these problems.
