The Strategic Water Resources Management (SWRM) is inherent in the Systemic approach in Water Resources utilization and protection plans. The multi-criteria approach as well as other approaches such as groups consisting of stakeholders that participate in the ordering and choosing solutions for the future, as well as the complexity of the natural and human systems impose the use of Systemic approach methods and especially multi-criteria methods.
