This work researches the insertion of the African Literature in Portuguese Spoken Language in the High degree at Universidade Federal do Tocantins. This investigation is based on the law 10.639/03 which teaching History and Culture from Africa and Afro-Brazilian people was become official. Data was produced based on semi-opened interviews and participant observation in full-time during three (3) semesters. It was aimed to investigate polemic themes such as: racism and homosexuality in classroom. Generated data was analyzed since Pêcheux’s theory of ideology and subject, known as Discourse Analysis (DA).
