HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEBIASAAN MEROKOK DENGAN DAYA TAHAN KARDIORESPIRASI PADA MAHASISWA PEROKOK DI PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MALANG

Background: Cardiorespiratoryfitness refers to the ability and efficiency of the heart, circulatory and respiratory systems to supply oxygen to skeletal muscles during sustained physical activity and one of the factors that determines the ability and endurance of the body in carrying out long-term activities. Cardiorespiratory fitness is influenced by many factors, one of which is smoking habit. Objective: To examine the relationship between smoking habit and cardiorespiratory fitness among college student smokers at Nursing Science Program, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Method: This research is an analytic observational study with cross sectional approach. The sampel is 10 male student smokers at Nursing Science Study Program of Muhammadiyah Malang University that was obtained by purposive sampling method.
