Hubungan Overweight pada Mahasiswi terhadap Intersitas Dismenore Primer

Background: Overweight is a condition where a person has a weight that exceeds the ideal body weight (Body Mass Index ≥ 23.00). In people who are experience overweight, there is a buildup of excessive fat that effect hyperplasia in female reproductive blood vessel. Purpose: to determine the relation of overweight in students with the intensity of primary dysmenorrhea. Research Method: The study design used cross sectional method with 90 sample, then overweight measured by the assessment of Body Mass Index, the intensity of primary dysmenorrhea measured by the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) in dysmenorrhea questionnaire and physical activity measured by International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). Result: This research tested by chi-square and obtaince a significance value that more than 0.05 (0.86>0.05). It means that H0 is accepted and it can be said that there’s no relation between overweight in students with the intensity of primary dysmenorrhea. Conclusion: Overweight has no relation with the intensity of primary dysmenorrhea in students
