ANALISIS FUNGSIONALISME PROGRAM USAHA PENINGKATAN PENDAPATAN KELUARGA SEJAHTERA (UPPKS) DALAM MEMBERDAYAKAN MASYARAKAT

Prosperous Family Income Development Program (UPPKS) "build Indonesia from the edge and improve the quality of human life" through the Family Planning Control Office (DP2KB) to improve the welfare of the community's economy. One of them is community empowerment conducted by DP2KB in Dusun Lowokpepen, Mojosari Village, Malang Regency. Where dusun lowokpepen used Kampung KB which have various program, one of program of UPPKS, because dusun lowokpepen have criteria area that backward. This study explains the functionality of the Business Program Increasing Family Welfare (UPPKS) in empowering the community in DusunLowokpepen, Mojosari Village, Malang regency. This research method using qualitative research approach with descriptive research type. The data were obtained by observation process, interview and documentation to 8 subjects choosen by purposive sampling method, 8 persons were people over 20 years old, who at least 10 years lived in dusun lowokpepen and followed UPPKS program. Talcott Parsons theory about the theory of structural functionalism is four functional imperative for a system of action is AGIL (Adaptation, Goal Attainment, Integration and Latency is a function of activity directed by DP2KB Malang Regency to society fulfill requirement increasing economy of Dusun Lowokpepen. which is done to see the functioning of UPPKS Program in empowering the community with batik development, training and making of chips Community empowerment through UPPKS Program needs continuous program in order to empower the community to be empowered
