EFEKTIVITAS BUKU PEMBELAJARAN BUDIDAYA LELE PADA WARGA BUTA AKSARA DI KABUPATEN PROBOLINGGO

Probolinggo city is red zone in terms of illiteracy in Indonesia. One of the efforts is made to eradicate illiteracy by developing catfish cultivation book learning. Catfish cultivation book learning is used by community of advanced literacy as reference to improve skill of catfish culture and used as teaching material for eradicating illiteracy. In that case, it will be described the effectiveness of catfish cultivation book learning for illiterate citizens in Probolinggo city as well as constraints and solutions in learning process. In this research, the researcher uses experimental research type as well as quantitative and qualitative approach. As source of data, it is selected the population of 50 residents who learn from 5 study groups in Ambulu and Banjarsari villages. From total population, 45 respondents are selected from 5 study groups in Ambulu and Banjarsari villages. This research is done through pre-test and post-test, interview and documentation. The result shows that based on paired sample t-test, it is found the value of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000
