Aquisição do Encontro Consonantal: Um Estudo Comparativo

This paper presents the results of PROAP (Study Program on the Portuguese Acquisition and Teaching as Mother Tongue) on study on the acquisition of consonant clusters process performed from the database collected by applying the ERT (phonetic-phonological examination) and is based on the Theory of Natural Phonology, based on the notion of phonological process developed by Stampe (1973) and the proposed by Ingram (1976) and Teixeira (1988, 1991, 2011). The study aims therefore verify what are the strategies most used in the acquisition of complex onset during the acquisition of phonology of Brazilian Portuguese by 128 children soteropolitanas between 2 and 8 years, divided into eight age groups, and there are differences, in acquisitional route between individuals belonging to social school class a and C. After analyzing the data, it was found that: a partial elision of the second element and the net of confusion are the most frequent strategies in both social school classes. Other strategies were also found, however, recurrence is negligible
