Comparison of microscopic phenotypes between wild-type and <i>cchA</i>/<i>midA</i> deletion mutants.

<p>The left and middle panels displayed the micrographs of Different Interference Constrast (DIC) for indicated strains. The <i>cchA</i>/<i>midA</i> mutants showed a sharp reduction in the number of conidiophores compared with wild-type strain. Characterization of conidiation defects in <i>cchA</i>/<i>midA</i> mutants indicated by the Scanning electron micrographs (SEM) in right panel. All stains were cultured on MMPDR at 37°C for 48 h.
