International audienceThe aim of this paper is to analyse the behaviour of-ing compound nouns in the process of their translation into Romance languages. The starting point of this analysis is our research into the entry of-ing simple nouns in the legal vocabulary of Romance languages, which we presented at the 10 th International Days of the Lexicology, Terminology and Translation Network (University of Strasbourg, 2015).
