Features of professional English communication in law.

In the modern world, not just learning of a foreign language, but a foreign language of various activity fields is gaining more and more popularity, since intercultural professional communication allows for dialogue between people without third parties (translators). The field of jurisprudence (or law) is not the exception. Law English, as noted by most researchers in linguistics, is considered one of the most difficult both at the level of translation and at the level of communication. In this study, the authors highlight the features of the legal English language at the level of vocabulary, morphology and syntax. They analyze examples from Latin and French. The features of the oral and written languages are determined. The authors also conduct a diachronic study of the formation of the modern law language. The key historical periods that influenced the development of the English law language are determined. The purpose of the article is to identify the key emergence causes of one of the most difficult professional languages. The authors also analyze the theoretical works of classical and modern researchers in the field of professional communication and the language of law. The analysis leads to an overview of the current trend in the English law language, aimed at simplifying the lexical and grammatical material of the professional language of lawyers.
