<p>Human colon cancer cell line SW480 and LoVo and normal cell lines CCD841 and LO2 were treated with UA at the indicated doses. At 48 hours after treatment, cell viability was determined by a MTT assay (<b>A, E</b>)<b>,</b> and the tumor cell-induced clone formation was analyzed (<b>B, C</b>). The changes in cell morphology, spreading and blebbing in cells treated without or with UA (10 µM and 20 µM) for 48 h were observed and cells were photographed using a microscope fitted with digital camera (<b>D</b>).
