Semi-quantitative analysis of <i>Pmca4a, b</i> mRNA via RT-PCR in the murine female reproductive tract

<p><b>A</b>) The 469 bp PCR product represents <i>Pmca4a</i>, and that of 278 bp corresponds to <i>Pmca</i>4b. Murine testis (T) cDNA served as positive control. Negative control was performed in the absence of reverse transcriptase (-RT). <i>Gapdh</i> mRNA was used as an internal control (<b>B</b>). Pronounced expression of <i>Pmca4b</i> was detected in the uterus, whereas PMCA4a showed more prominent expression in the oviduct than in the testis.
