Specific antibody response in sera from BN rats dosed orally with unmodified or hydrolysis products thereof.

<p>Groups of female rats were dosed by gavage at day 1–35 with 0.2, 2 or 20 mg/rat of unmodified, enzymatic hydrolyzed or acid hydrolyzed gluten. Serum samples were obtained at sacrifice (day 42) and analyzed by ELISA for specific IgG1 and IgE. Each symbol represents an animal and horizontal bars indicate median values. Data were analyzed by non-parametrical test. Asterisks indicate statistically significant difference between groups; *: <i>p</i>≤0.05, **: <i>p</i>≤0.01, ***: <i>p</i>≤0.001, NS: not significant.
