Humoral immune response after immunization with nucleosomal histones (HIS) or acidic ribosomal protein (LiP0) antigens.

<p>Hamsters (n = 6–10) were bled 2 weeks after immunization and sera were tested by ELISA to determine specific total IgG levels. (A) Anti-HIS total IgG in sera from hamsters immunized with recombinant DNA coding for HIS (pcDNA HIS) or with recombinant DNA followed by recombinant nucleosomal histones+CpG (pcDNA HIS-rHIS+CpG). (B) Anti-LiP0 total IgG in sera from hamsters immunized with recombinant DNA coding for LiP0 (pcDNA LiP0) or with recombinant DNA followed by recombinant protein LiP0+CpG (pcDNA LiP0- rLiP0+CpG).
