Determination of expressed fusion-proteins by IFA and western blot analysis.

<p>(A) IFA identification of fusion proteins. BHK-21 cells were infected with recombinant viruses or parental T1100I at MOI 5 and stained with anti-VP1, anti-GP5 or anti-E2 antibody at 16 hpi. The scale bars in the pictures represent 50 μm. (B) Western blot of fusion proteins. BHK-21 cell lysates harvested at 16 hpi were probed for fusion proteins with same antibodies. M refers to mock infected BHK-21 cell lysates. ΔGP5 and E2 are herein abbreviated for CvBJC3m/I-ΔGP5 and CvBJC3m/I-E2 infected cell lysates respectively.
