<p>(A) Alignment of <i>F2R</i> 5’UTR nucleotide sequences across multiple species, highly conserved nucleotides are highlighted in black. (B) HEK293T cells were transfected with 200 ng of either -67G or -67C <i>F2R</i> luciferase reporter construct, or an empty vector control. Forty-eight hours post-transfection, cells were lysed and luciferase activity assessed. Luciferase levels were normalised for transfection efficiency using Renilla activity.
