Managerial skills

The main objective of this thesis is the arrangement of theoretical knowledge, sources, and approaches of the scientific authors dealing with the issues of management and functions, managers´ personalities and their managerial skills focusing on both soft and hard skills. The thesis also addresses the theoretical utilization and development opportunities. Furthermore it deals with the improvement of managerial skills in company management with focus mainly on soft and hard skills essential for improving the copmany work efficiency and the management quality. The practical part focuses on the exploration of present managerial skills practice in TOS Varnsdorf company, Inc. The methods of investigation for this diploma thesis are the observation, interview and questionnaire survey, which was compiled on the approaches of the theoretical part. The results of the survey will be evaluated in the practical part and the final part will bring general assessment and recommendations that could lead to the current situation improvement
