Managerial skills

The topic of the bachelor thesis are managerial skills. The main goal is to find a right solution that would lead to improve the level of the store manager´s managerial skills. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part contains theoretical knowledge gained by study literature focusing on the explanation of terms such as management theory or management. The first part also concern with concrete terms and divisions of manager, for example managerial functions or managerial roles. The practical part is devoted to introduction of company Rösler Praha spol. s r.o. and to research of managerial skills in the store. The analysis was performed by own observation of the current store manager and in-depth interviews with manager´s superiors and subordinates. In the last part are evaluated analysis results and alternatives, which could lead to the improvement of managerial skills in the store, are suggested
