STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KUPEDES DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN EKSPANSI KREDIT PADA PT. BANK RAKYAT INDONESIA (PERSERO) KANTOR CABANG TANGERANG

At the moment People's Bank Of Indonesia (BRI) has succeded in giving credit to community. The Succes of BRI Unit in distributing credit which is called "Kupedes", however, has not been based on customer's satisfaction. BRI Unit, there fore, must make such a product development towards the Kupedes that is aimed at the customer's satisfaction. Bisides, in a line with the ever increasing knowledge of the people and tlze fast going globalization, inevitably there will be a new competition, therefore BRI Unit needs to make several improvement of the Kupedes product, which is intended to gain customer's satisfaction. From the research's outcomes it can be concluded that BRI Unit must : adjust its interest rate to market rate (the rate which is valid in market), in order that it can increase the total arnount of outstanding credit; make some change in the information technology, especially in on line banking system in order that it can sirnpl~ftih e procces of credit transaction : inzprove the network systenz of BRI Unit, so that it can serve the customer better; increase the number of employees according to /he BRl Unit standart of emplyment in order to make better service to the customer and inzprove ofjce facilities nmnely improve tlze perfornzance of BRI Unit's buildings
