Recent studies on motor learning have shown the effectiveness of the practice that incorporates some form of self-learning and performance of a motor task (JANELLE, 1997; CHIVIACOWSKY & WULF, 2002). In the present study aims to investigate whether the benefits generated by the typical practice self-control subjects are also found in individuals with motor impairment after stroke.The subjects, 26 adults of both sexes, with injury after stroke for at least 6 months, will be divided into two groups.
