Great Aunt Belle (Belva) and Great Aunt Tude (Suda). They were Daddy's (Jones Weathers) aunts, the adventurous sisters of his shadow-in-the-corner mother. Tude is the women who, when she off the train carrying her from Texas to Chicago in 1910, had a photo taken of herself wearing her Edwardian hat. Belle marched in suffragist parades, and her sister, Tude,was a nurse in France in World War I. In Chicago, Aunt Belle met the woman who became the love of her lifer.
