"This story, which has become chiefly known through the Hindustani translation entitled Bāgh o bahār ... is popularly ascribed to Amīr Khusrau Dihlavī. A Ḳiṣṣah i chār darvīsh in prose is mentioned by Muṣḥafī, fol. 5, among the works of Anjab ... Sir Wm.
