Purpose: Diversity is emerging as one of the key pillars of corpo-rate social responsibility. The purpose of this study is to challenge the universal concept of diversity and inclusion by obtaining practical insight into local phenomena.Design/methodology/approach: The empirical findings draw from communication campaigns and in-depth interviews.Findings: It has become apparent that diversity management does not transcend organisational or national boundaries.
