Convivendo com a criança em assistência domiciliar: a família neste contexto

This research arises from the need to enlarge the existing studies on Health Care (HHC) and the need to understand the meanings of the content experienced and perceived by families of children in the Home Care Program Interdisciplinary (PADI-IFF). This is a survey with a qualitative approach and a case study, whose objective is to understand the strategies used by families in the organization of the family environment and care for children dependent on technology through home care. The home appliances of home care shows basic characteristics of this "new" model of health care and the representation of existential changes caused by living with a chronically ill child in the family. This "new" model shows the existence of three worlds directly linked: the world of technology, the world of the healthcare team and the world of the home environment. It also shows the constant interaction of these worlds in achieving this type of assistance. In the experience of this encounter between the three worlds, is highlighted in our research strategies used by families in care delivery and to live this new reality. Studies of home care is still incomplete regarding the impact of this "new" program on the family ambience. The challenge of this research was to investigate and clarify the meaning of this "new" program on the life, the daily lives of patients and families involved in this process through the narrative technique in light of the thoughts of Mikhil Bakhtin and Michel Foucault. So you want to salvage the look that the family has on these processes, the ways they fit together, the networks that weave and construct meanings for the gesture of care at home.Esta pesquisa surge da necessidade de se ampliar os estudos existentes sobre Assistência Domiciliar (AD), bem como da necessidade de compreensão dos significados dos conteúdos vividos e percebidos pelos familiares das crianças atendidas pelo Programa de Assistência Domiciliar Interdisciplinar (PADI-IFF). Trata-se de uma pesquisa, com abordagem qualitativa e um estudo de caso, cujo objetivo será de compreender as estratégias utilizadas pelas famílias na organização do espaço familiar e no cuidado às crianças dependentes de tecnologias através da assistência domiciliar. O cotidiano doméstico da assistência domiciliar revela características básicas desse novo modelo de atenção em saúde e as representações das mudanças existenciais provocadas pelo viver com uma criança doente crônica no ambiente familiar. Este novo modelo mostra a existência de três mundos diretamente interligados: o mundo da tecnologia, o mundo da equipe de saúde e o mundo do ambiente domiciliar. Mostra ainda a interação constante destes mundos na concretização deste tipo de assistência. Na experiência deste encontro entre os três mundos, ganha destaque em nossa pesquisa as estratégias utilizadas pelas famílias no ato de cuidar e de viver esta nova realidade. Os estudos sobre a assistência domiciliar são ainda lacunares quanto aos impactos deste novo programa sobre a ambiência familiar. O grande desafio desta pesquisa foi de investigar e esclarecer qual o sentido deste novo programa na vida, no cotidiano dos pacientes e familiares envolvidos neste processo, através da técnica narrativas sob a luz dos pensamentos de Mikhil Bakhtin e de Michael Foucault. Assim pretende-se resgatar o olhar que os familiares tem sobre esses processos, os modos como se organizam, as redes que tecem e os significados que constroem para o gesto de cuidar no domicílio
