The central demand elevated in this article is: Is it possible to translate the ‘genre’ of Quran? This article tried to involve some syntactic, semantic, cultural as well as stylistic difficulties and supports the argument with samples of verses from the Quran along with exegesis. However, evaluation and examination of data were based on the following four translations of the Holy Quran: The Koran Interpreted, by A. J. Arberry, The Koran by N. J. Dawood, Interpretation of the Meanings of the Noble Quran by Al-Hilali and Khan, and The Meaning of the Holy Quran by Ali.
