Introduction: Diabetes is associated with the development of many cardiovascular diseases (CVD). Diabetes impairs the utilization of lipids and lipoproteins which cause diabetes induced atherogenic dyslipidemia that, is one of the most important risk factor for the development of atherosclerosis in diabetic individuals.
