They can be identified by their robust appearance, coarsely punctate texture of the pronotum and face, hirsute body and face, crown very short, pronotum produced anteriorly with apex exceeding eyes in dorsal view, ocelli distant from eyes, antennal ledge distinct, forewing appendix large, and forewing veins raised.
