Abstract. - The Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg is an immigration area. With more than 100 000 foreign residents and more than 30 000 frontier workers you can say it's a real melting pot. This paper is going to present the demographic, the economic and the cultural impact represented by this presence. It is also developping some worrying problems posed by this phenomenon on both sides, the luxemburgish and the foreign one.Résumé. - Le Grand-Duché de Luxembourg constitue une terre d'immigration par excellence.
