Kebijakan Pemerintah Daerah Dalam Mengatur Pengelolaan Limbah Cair Domistik Di Kabupaten Bengkalis

ABSTRACT The problem of environmental quality in community settlements in almost all major cities in Indonesia is a multi-dimensional problem. Rapid urban development is characterized by the increasing number of people living in the City residential area. The increase in population has implications for the volume of solid waste produced by the community both solid and liquid, therefore the production of waste in broad unity is also increasing. If there is no appropriate action to deal with this problem, it will cause serious problems. The denser an area, the more complex the pollution problem will be, especially domestic or domestic waste. Problem formulation (1) What is the Regional Government Policy in regulating domestic liquid waste management in Bengkalis Regency, (2) What is the obstacle for the Regional Government in managing domestic liquid waste management in Bengkalis Regency. Research methods belong to the type of observational research by surveying respondents from the Regional Representative Council of Bengkalis, Office of Environment, Legal Section of the Regional Secretariat, Health Service, Environmental NGOs, while the community in Mandau District was sampled by the head of the Mandau Sub-district, Bengkalis Sub-District Head Bengkalis, and Bukit Batu Subdistrict, Bukit Batu Subdistrict samples were taken. The results of the research and discussion, the Regional Government Policy in Managing Domistic Liquid Waste Management in Bengkalis Regency are as follows: (a) Development of facilities and infrastructure, (b) Initial collection and storage, (c) Transportation / drainage and (d ) Centralized Final Processing. Obstacles to Regional Governments in Managing Domistic Liquid Waste Management in Bengkalis District have not yet been coordinated between the Provincial Government and the District / City, There is still a lack of public knowledge about the importance of the management of Domestic Liquid Wast
