Tata Kelola Sampah Oleh Pemerintahan Daerah Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir (Studi Di Pasar Tradisional Kelurahan Enok)

One of the problems facing urban/regional management from all over the world including Indonesia is waste management. Along with increasing economic growth, the standard of living of the population also increases. The problem in this thesis is that the waste is not managed in the traditional market, Enok Village, Enok District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, a lot of garbage is scattered and causes damage to the environment around the market. The purpose of this study was to find out how the Waste Management by the Regional Government of Indragiri Hilir Regency. The type of research in writing this thesis is a qualitative research method, namely research that makes a human as a respondent adapted to the field situation. research in the form of interviews, documentation and observation and secondary data. The results of this study are that not all parties have authority over the market and waste management in the traditional market of Enok Village. It can be seen from the results of interviews with the sub-district that the sub-district does not have authority over the market, the absolute authority of the market belongs to the Department of Trade and Industry of Indragiri Hilir Regency. The Department of Trade and Industry agreed with the authority of the market, but it could not be separated from coordination with the sub-district because the market was located in the sub-district area. In conclusion, Enok Subdistrict does not yet have TPS and TPA for waste, this has resulted in the accumulation of garbage in several places such as in the ditch around the market which makes the sewer clogged. Suggestions to the Enok Sub-district and the Environmental and Hygiene Service of Indragiri Hilir Regency to be able to solve the waste problems that occur in the market and immediately build a garbage disposal so that there is no more trash scattered around
