Studie je zaměřena na komickou operu vrcholného klasicismu, reprezentovanou Figarovou svatbou W.A. Mozarta a adekvátní změny ve stejnojmenné sociálně kritické komedii P.-A. Beaumarchaise a obdobné změně městského žánru, o kterou se zasloužil William Hogarth. Studie sleduje proces proměny od pozdního baroka do raného (Hogarth) a vrcholného (Mozart, Beaumarchais) klasicismu na modelových dílech.The study focuses on the comic opera of high classicism, represented by W. A. Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro and adequate changes in P.-A. Beaumarchais' socially critical comedy of the same name and a similar change in the urban genre spearheaded by William Hogarth.
