The thesis deals with an analysis of Suzanne in Mozarts opera The Marriage of Figaro ( Le nozze di Figaro). It analyses major part of well known interpretations and compares vocalists who performed in the Suzanne role. The objective of the thesis is maintained by the author experiences while studying the role in the Opera Studio. The thesis highlights the role complexity in confrontation of singing and acting in specific situacions. The minor parts of the thesis are concerned with W.A.Mozarts individuality and his work. The list of W.A.Mozarts scenic works is added as an annex
