The experience report aims to verify the applicability of fighting content within early childhood education. Therefore, the planning of the classes was done through Didactic Units. This proposal was made through opposition games, with a group of 14 children from 5 to 6 years old. In addition, the children were able to practice the opposition games, understanding the rules and responding to the motor requirements of each game. Regarding the concepts, children can differentiate fights from struggles, including identifying the presented modalities. After the application of the Didactic Units and its evaluation, it is verified that the prejudices about teaching fights in physical education are not justified.
