This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of individual characteristics on employee performance at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Pekanbaru Branch. The population of this study were 37 employees of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Pekanbaru Branch, with a sample of 31 people using purposive samples, while data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used in this study is simple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination (R2), and t test with the help of SPSS version 25 program. The results of this study indicate that individual characteristics have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Branch Pekanbaru
