This work aimed to examine research on information literacy in the context of school libraries, from 2011 to 2021. It is a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, and developed through bibliographic research, addressing the themes information literacy and school library. The data were obtained from the Reference Database of Journal Articles in Information Science. The results show that most studies are focused on showing the resources and the way they are used by librarians, who work in a school library, to develop information literacy.
