PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA FLIP BOOK UNTUK SISWA KELAS BAWAH DI SDN KARANGTENGAH 5 KANDANGAN KEDIRI

The learning carried out at SDN Karangtengah 5 uses the 2013 curriculum, but in the teaching and learning process in the classroom the teacher is still lacking in applying the material being taught, namely when teaching the Thematic learning material which makes students difficult in learningunderstand the material.the results of the analysis conducted at SDN Candipari 1 there are several obstacles including: 1) lack of media that is able to make students quickly understand the learning material, 2) lack of student motivation to learn, 3) students need learning media for the spirit of learning,4) teachers still use LKS books and packages only as teaching materials.One way to solve these problems is to develop an interesting learning media and be able to make students enthusiastic about learning in the classroom. This study aims to produce Flip Book learning media products in class II for Thematic learning. In this study using the 4-D learning model. The 4-D learning model contains 5 stages, namely Definition, Design, Development and Dissemination. Data were obtained from class II students of SDN Karangtengah 5, totaling 15 students. This research was conducted in August 2022. This study used interview, observation, questionnaire, and documentation data collection techniques. The results of the study resulted in a product in the form of Flip Book media based on imaginative media. the data from material expert validation obtained a percentage of 95% and media expert validation obtained a percentage score of 97%, while for the results of student responses the percentage score was 81.1%. It can be concluded that the development of Flip Book learning media based on imaginative media in thematic learning in grade II SD is feasible to be used in learning
