PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA TONGGAM (KANTONG BERGAMBAR) PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK KELAS 1 SEKOLAH DASAR

Based on the results of the needs analysis in grade 1 SDN Donomulyo 6, it is known that the learning media used only utilizes objects in the school environment and tends to be less attractive so that students are less active in participating in learning. Another problem found was that the majority of grade 1 students at SDN Donomulyo 6 had poor vocabulary skills and had difficulty distinguishing between 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works of art. In learning mathematics, the material for tiling patterns only uses a theme book. There is no learning media related to tiling pattern material that can provide direct experience to students. Attractive media can increase students' motivation and enthusiasm in learning, one of which is game-based media. This study aims to develop the TONGGAM (Picture Bag) media in thematic learning for grade 1 Elementary School. The research uses the ADDIE method which consists of 5 stages, namely, analysis (Analyze), design (Design), development (Development), mplementation (Implementation), and evaluation (Evaluation). The research subjects were 11 students of SDN Donomulyo 6. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and validation questionnaires. This research uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the TONGGAM learning media product (Picture Bag) was in the valid and effective category for use in thematic learning. This is evidenced by the results of the validation of material experts who obtained a percentage of 88.6% with a very feasible and valid category, the results of the validation of media experts obtained a percentage of 92.5% with a very feasible and valid category, and the effectiveness of the use of media obtained a percentage of 80% with an effective category for used in learning. Suggestions for further researchers to be able to develop better media in terms of materials, appearance and content in it
