PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN LIVING THING PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK SUBTEMA HEWAN DAN TUMBUHAN DI LINGKUNGAN RUMAHKU KELAS 4 SEKOLAH DASAR

The implementation of learning in elementary schools requires learning media as a form of support in the learning process such as multimedia learning. Based on the results of interviews with guardians at State Elementary School 5 Kalirejo, it was found that so far there has been no development of technology-based media for grade 4 students, especially on theme 3 of sub-theme 1 and currently teachers only use the surrounding environment as a medium in the thematic learning process. For this reason, this study aims to produce products in the form of developing Living Thing media on the theme material 3 Caring for Living Things subtheme 1 Animals and Plants in my Home Environment learning 1. This media development research uses the Lee & Owens (2004) research model which includes the early-late analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research was carried out at the Kalirejo State Elementary School 5, Lawang in grade 4 of the 2021/2022 school year which amounted to 24 students. This research was conducted in two stages, namely the pre-action stage and the Action stage. In the pre-action stage, data collection is carried out based on teacher learning outcomes, while the Action stage is carried out by researchers and students at the time of product implementation in the learning process. The development of this media has been validated by learning media experts and learning material experts. The results of the calculation of media validation data obtained a percentage of 79.41% and material validation obtained by 82.14%. Based on the validation results, it is concluded that the Living Thing media is feasible to be implemented in the learning process. Based on the results of the study, there are suggestions such as this media can be used for teachers and students as a support in the learning process
