RESISTENSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP KEGIATAN INDUSTRI (Studi Tentang Perlawanan Masyarakat Terhadap Kegiatan Produksi Pabrik Rejoso Manis Indo di Desa Rejoso Kabupaten Blitar)

The phenomenon of resistance that occurs is actions taken by the community that aim to ask for justice. In various areas, especially in East Java, resistance behavior still occurs a lot. This shows an unbalanced relationship between the authorities and/or entrepreneurs and the community. This study uses the theory of resistance from James C. Scott which aims to find out the problems that threaten the community and the forms of resistance. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The research subjects were determined by using purposive sampling technique based on the criteria of the people who had an impact and the people who had the attitude of resilience. In collecting data using observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of research data using the model from Miles & Huberman. The results of the study indicate that there are various problems that threaten the community which include water pollution, air and noise pollution, and road damage. Meanwhile, the forms of resistance carried out by the community include open resistance and closed resistance. In open resistance, people take action to close the road. Meanwhile, in closed resistance, people take action to gossip, gossip and grumble
