The Relationship Between Social Support and the Meaning of Life in Patients Underwent Hemodialysis at Rasyida Special Kidney Hospital Medan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Hubungan Antara Dukungan Sosial dengan Kebermaknaan Hidup Pada Pasien yang Menjalani Hemodialisa Di Rs Khusus Ginjal Rasyida Medan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien yang menjalani hemodialisa di Rs Khusus Ginjal Rasyida Medan yang berjumlah 300 orang. Untuk menentukan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dimana sampel yang diambil sesuai berdasarkan tujuan yang ingin diteliti berjumlah 40 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala dukungan sosial dan kebermaknaan hidup. Uji validitas menggunakan uji validitas isi yang dimana diperoleh koefisien butir skala dukungan sosial yang valid bergerak dari rbt = 0,344 hingga rbt = 0,717 dan skala kebermaknaan hidup bergerak dari rbt = 0,312 hingga rbt = 0,491 dengan taraf signifikan atau p> 0,300. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach yang menghasilkan indeks reliabilitas sebesar 0,917 untuk skala dukungan sosial dan 0,873 untuk skala kebermaknaan hidup. Uji korelasi digunakan untuk menentukan hubungan antara kedua variabel yaitu dukungan sosial dan kebermaknaan hidup diperoleh melalui perhitungan dengan korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara dukungan sosial dan kebermaknaan hidup pada pasien yang menjalani hemodialisa di Rs Khusus Ginjal Rasyida Medan. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil perhitungan korelasi r product moment, dimana dimana rxy= 0,377 dengan signifikan p= 0,05 artinya hipotesis yang di ajukan semakin positif dukungan sosial maka akan semakin tinggi kebermaknaan hidup dan sebaliknya semakin negatif dukungan sosial maka akan semakin rendah kebermaknaan hidup dinyatakan diterima. Adapun sumbangan efektif dari dukungan sosial mempengaruhi kebermaknaan hidup sebesar 14,2%.This study aims to look at the Relationship Between Social Support with Meaningfulness Of Life In Patients Undergoing Hemodialysis At Rasyida Special Kidney Hospital In Medan. The population in this study were patients who underwent hemodialysis at the Rasyida Medan Special Kidney Hospital, amounting to 300 people. To determine the number of samples in this study using purposive sampling techniques, where the samples taken according to the objectives to be studied amounted to 40 people. Data is collected using a scale of social support and meaningfulness of life. Validity test uses content validity test in which obtained a valid coefficient of social support scale moving from rbt = 0.344 to rbt = 0.717 and the scale of meaningfulness of life moves from rbt = 0.312 to rbt = 0.491 with a significant level or p> 0.300. The reliability test used Alpha Cronbach which produced a reliability index of 0.917 for the scale of social support and 0.873 for the scale of meaningfulness of life. Correlation test is used for determine the relationship between the two variables namely social support and meaningfulness of life obtained through calculations with Product moment correlation. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between social support and the meaningfulness of life in patients undergoing hemodialysis at the Rasyida Special Kidney Hospital in Medan. This is based on the results of the calculation of the correlation r product moment, where rxy = 0.377 with a significant p = 0.05 means that the hypothesis proposed the more positive Social Support, the higher the Meaning of Life and vice versa the more negative the Social Support, the lower the Meaning of Life expressed received. The effective contribution of social support affects the meaningfulness of life by 14.2%
