Studi Literatur: Hubungan Dukungan Sosial Terhadap Kepatuhan Pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik Yang Menjalani Hemodialisis

Background: A very long hemodialysis will take away the vibrancy of chronic renal failure patients, thus affecting a person's adherence to hemodialysis therapy. Patients need support from those closest to them to reduce feelings of vaginal discharge and loss of enthusiasm in performing hemodialysis. Method: This study used a literature study design based on PRISMA with article search data using the Library (n=23), Pubmed (n=62), NCBI (n=9,823), Science Direct (n=6,034), Willey On Library (n=8,719), then a screening process was carried out based on inclusion criteria, so that a total (n=5,917) of articles was obtained. The next article was analyzed using Thematic Analysis and quality assessment was assessed using JBI Cross-Sectional. Results: Of the 10 articles there are 2 themes that can be taken including: (1) sources of social support for adherence of chronic renal failure patients, 2) the type of adherence of chronic renal failure patients who require social support. There is a relationship between social support and adherence to chronic renal failure patients. The forms of social support are family support, friend support and health worker support, then types of compliance of chronic renal failure patients who require social support such as adherence to fluid intake restrictions, adherence to hemodialysis, dietary adherence and medication adherence. Conclusion: The high frequency and intensity of social support can improve the adherence of chronic renal failure patients in carrying out hemodialysis therapy, as well as have a good impact on the quality of life of patient
