ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM SETTING PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TWO STAY TWO STRAY(TSTS)

The research is to describe mathematical communication skills and student learning outcomes with cooperative learning setting type two stay two stray. this research uses type of research is descriptiv with a qualitative approach. The subject that used in this research are of class VII E in junior high school in Mojokerto. Data collection techniques in this research used written test, interviews and observations. The written test used to measures written mathematical communication skills and student learning outcomes, then structured interviews used to measures student verbal mathematical communication skills. But observation sheet used to measures teacher’s activity during learning process and is ongoing. The results of the research teacher’s activity by percentage 85,19% with a very good category, student learning reaped percentage of students in the high and medium category 66,7% which is where the percentage is greater than the percentage of student population in the low category. The written mathematical communication skills are the medium category with the student’s grade point averages is 67,92. The verbal mathematical communication skills better then written mathematical communication skills, it can be seen from some student who has not been able to write the core problem of a given problem but has been able to express it verbally
