TINJAUAN YURIDIS SOSIOLOGIS PENEGAKAN HUKUM TINDAK PIDANA PENGGUNA NARKOTIKA DI KOTA BATU (Studi di Badan Narkotika Nasional Kota Batu)

The crime of narcotics users still often occurs in Batu City, whereas narcotics have a bad effect on health and for life. Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics has maximized the role of the National Narcotics Agency in preventing and eradicating narcotics abuse, it is hoped that law enforcement against narcotics users will be more optimal because the National Narcotics Agency is also given the authority to conduct investigations and investigations of narcotics cases. So with the existence of the Batu City National Narcotics Agency, it is expected to be able to enforce the law against narcotics users in Batu City. The formulation of the problem contained in this study first is law enforcement against narcotics users in Batu City by the Batu City National Narcotics Agency. Second, the obstacles in law enforcement against narcotics users in Batu City by the Batu City National Narcotics Agency. Third, solutions to overcome obstacles in law enforcement against narcotics users in Batu City by the Batu City BNN. The research method used a sociological juridical approach, primary and secondary data sources, data collection methods by interview, observation and literature study and descriptive analysis. Based on research and discussion, it is shown that first, law enforcement against narcotics users in Batu City by the Batu City National Narcotics Agency is in accordance with Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. Second. There are several obstacles, such as the lack of infrastructure in carrying out law enforcement in Batu City by the Batu City National Narcotics Agency. Third, the solution in overcoming these obstacles is to build infrastructure so that it meets the strander better. Therefore, the suggestion from the author to the National Narcotics Agency of Batu City is to do more socialization to the general public in order to know the dangers of narcotics
