STUDI LITERATUR HUBUNGAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN TINGKAT STRES PADA MAHASISWA

Background: Stress is a condition where individuals feel depressed because the desired situation is not in line with expectations, stress that is not able to be controlled by students will have an impact on physical, emotional, behavior and cognition conditions. Various ways can be done by students to reduce the impact of stress, one of which is through emotional intelligence. As a step to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and the level of stress experienced by students, a literature study aims to find out whether there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and stress levels in students. Methods: The research design used in this study is a literature study with a sample of 9 journals. With the search topic "The Relationship of Emotional Intelligence and Stress Levels in Students or Emotional Intelligence, Stress Level, College Students". Results: A total of 88.9% (n=8) journals stated that there was a relationship between emotional intelligence and stress levels in students and 11.1 (n=1) stated that there was no relationship between emotional intelligence and stress levels in students. Conclusion: There is a relationship between emotional intelligence and stress levels in students where the higher the emotional intelligence, the lower the pressure experienced, and vice versa if the emotional intelligence is low, the pressure felt is even greater
